Read the article I posted above. It talks about the surge and it's timing.

The informed always knew that most of the violence was civil in nature. Call it ethnic cleansing if you like.

After scaring, killing, threatening those not of the same persuasion to leave the areas that others wanted to claim as theirs the violence naturally decreases.

To each his own. I would rather enlist as many news sources as possible, unless you are Keeper it is hard to believe ALL the authors are "conspiring" one direction or the other.
