You bring up a good point. Yes it is important to look at as many sources as possible. Somewhere inbetween is the real truth. Yes, that article made some valid points about the surge. Is some of that true, yes I believe so. Are there other circumstances that are equally valid, yes there are. You cannot just except those points and ignore the fact that reconciliation has taken place. No matter how fragile. The differences in Mosul and Basra are real. It is giving people their a clear choice as to how they want live. But it would be naive to think that those forces of evil, for lack of a better term, want nothing more than to change that.

Uto, maybe you can fill me in. Obama says he wants to increase the troop level in Afghanistan, a surge. I'm not against that, it's already happening. What he doesn't say is, how is he going to deal with the war lords. Leaving it up to Karsai is not a viable option, in my opinion. From what I've seen, he does not address that issue. Neither does McCain for that matter. BUT Obama is making this his centerpiece for the war on terror. He needs to be more forthcoming on this, in my opinion.

This Obama tour with the troops, with shooting baskets, is all carefully staged BS. Look at the gym, filled with minority affirmative action "soldiers" cheering like madmen at the prospect of the Messiah Magic Obama as their leader. It made me sick.

Not sick as Pompous George's prancing and dancing antics when he went on PR in front of the troops, as his misguided policies continues to result in their wounds, injuries, deaths, and tens of thousands of shattered American families.
Obama will be elected because of folks like you, Ray.

Not nearly as sick as the thought of people like you having a vote, makes me, Ray/StupidReader.

The difference between the Huffington Post and Limbaugh or his ilk, is that lies are not continually used to promulgate a point of view on the Huffington Post. Please, anyone, feel free to point out an opinion on the Huffington Post that is based on lies.
