So what have we learned the last 24 hours.

That Dubbs has no proof for the claim that "plain and precious truths" have been removed from the Holy Bible.

The Holy Bible and the BoM contradict most of post-1840 Mormon theology.

That Dubbs wants to use his testimony as proof in place of objective evidence.

That Dubbs, who is on vacation, is neglecting his family to be on the forum.

Now, Dubbs, I counsel you to return to the bosom of your family and ignore the ramblings of man. Draw close to them, learn from them, hearken unto them. In the name of the Trinity, Amen.

I think it would have been easier and just as true Wren if you would have just wrote:

So what have we learned the last 24 hours.

1. That Dubbs is still as stupid and ignorant as ever..!!!

2. Now, Dubbs, I counsel you to return to the bosom of your family....

That would work.

He harms his family with the time he spends here, while most everyone else balances this with more important needs.

Concerning spiritual confirmation and revelation -- I imagine some revelations are by God, some revelations are by Satan, and some are by man. They are normally not verifiable by objective evidence, and they are certainly not obligatory on other individuals to accept.

Dubbs speaks for himself, no one else, certainly not the LDS church. It pretend to do so is to practice the what the LDS condemn as unrighteous dominion. Dubbs would do well not stray there.

Dubbs doesn't love the Bible. Here is proof: "I love to read where Joseph has corrected the Bible, and made given back many of the plain and precious parts that were taken out."

He has already admitted he has no historical evidence to believe that anything important was missing, but hey . . . it's America and it is his right. Except when that arrogant stupidity tries to make it truth.

well he does have the right to be wrong. A right he chooses to use on a regular basis.

Wren counsels Dubbs, "Giving one's time for the cause of Christ is always commendable, Dubbs. You should work often in such opportunities not connected with your church. You will meet situations and peoples that will your growth as a Christian."

I do my share wren, worry about your own life, I'm sure you don't do a tithe in your faith, or offer much service to your community, unless you call a "mormon men militia" service (smirk)

"However, the point originally was that your church leaders did not receive compensation, which we have found not to be the truth. Some do, particularly in the elevated regions of leadership."

Course nobody denied this, so not sure why you keep bringing it up.

What I'm looking for is evidence the church used to hide this fact.

Did Dubbs ever address the quorum of the 12 holding positions as CEOs, Board members etc. in LDS owned companies as being paid positions?

have proof of this? Besides a lieing apostate anti mormon site?

Didn't thinks so.

Read the Desert News when it points out so and so is appointed or reappointed to a Board of Directors of a corporation.

I have read such notes dozens of times over the years. Look it up and learn something.

Oh, that shows you don't understand this at all. Talk to your Stake President or a successful businessman with a college education in your Stake, and they will set you straight.

Or look up Leonard Arrington's books.

David Haight being on a board is not anything that the church set up, he earned this right through his years in business, happens alot in High CEO corporate enviroment that executives retire. Big whoop.

The church actually told those who were still on boards to stop, shows they didn't set it up to begin with.
