I just think that, boiled down, you don't like BYU and so, subconsciously, anything related to BYU et al BYU fans, just annoys you. It is just the fact that they are BYU fans and so any type of behavior they display annoys you too. Occasionally you will run into somebody (perhaps me) that says or does something that really annoys you, and so you lump all BYU fans into the same category.
This is perfectly acceptable to me on face value. It is human nature. Rabid Michigan fans do the same thing with Ohio State fans and vise versa.
My position is that it isn't what I do or say to you, it is who I am (a BYU fan) that you annoys you the most. I still maintain that some ute fans can be the most vicious. I have been to games at every stadium in the conference, including War Memorial (Wyoming) and the only place I have ever had a cup of hot (very hot) chocolate thrown on my was at RES.
All I was doing was sitting there wearing BYU blue.
I still think you are very wrong in your predictions of BYU's schedule. But you were right when you said all the pressure is on them, and expectations may be too high. We shall see.
