I believe in Jesus Christ. Believing in a church is not going to anyone any good on Judgment Day.
Jaye preaches the truth when he writes, "Salvation is a gift granted by God for such as He loves. God forgives those whom He will forgive. And God alone will grant salvation, or damnation as God deems fit."
The Journal of Discourses are quite clear in sermons that the LDS patriotism before the the Civil War on the Constitution did not extend to the nation's citizens or the nation itself. For more information, anyone can peruse Brigham Young and George A. Smith's sermons on the 24th of July celebrations until the Civil War.
A comparison of Dubbs and Lovie is a comparison that demonstrates the darkness of Dubbs' soul and the light of Lovie. A reading of Elder Hale' sermon clearly puts Lovie and her behavior in the good and Dubbs' and his ways on the outside looking in. Good for Lovie.
It is good that she keeps him in his place at all times on this forum. God will continue to bless her, and we all must continue to labor long on Dubbs' behalf. If we don't do it, who will? If he does not change, our efforts on his behalf will still rebound to our reward.

"Social principles
The following 12 principles are frequently listed as a quick summary of the Bahá'à teachings. They are derived from transcripts of speeches given by `Abdu'l-Bahá during his tour of Europe and North America in 1912. The list is not authoritative and a variety of such lists circulate.
1. Unity of God 2. Unity of religion 3. Unity of humankind 4. Gender equality 5. Elimination of all forms of prejudice 6. World peace 6. Harmony of religion and science 7. Independent investigation of truth 8. Universal compulsory education 9. Universal auxiliary language 10 Obedience to government and non-involvement in partisan politics 11. Elimination of extremes of wealth and poverty
12. With specific regard to the pursuit of world peace, Bahá'u'lláh prescribed a world-embracing Collective Security arrangement as necessary for the establishment of a lasting peace.
Hmmmm...One God...love, peace and harmony...principles one through 11 sound pretty darned similar to the teachings of Jesus Christ...and the founder of the faith, claimed to be a prophet who received revelation from God.
Here is one link explaining the faith.

Hey, maybe you wouldn't have to lie to join their church and get a recommend into their temple. HAR!
The Bahai faith doesn't restrict entrance to either their faith, or their houses of worship, Dubbs. Baha'i Houses of Worship are open to all peoples, regardless of race, creed, gender or age.
There are no requirements, except for a desire for peace, tranquility, the love of all humanity, and equality.
Wow that sure makes the LDS Church look bad...!!!
Nah, it actually makes them look more correct, a church that stands for nothing, takes a stand for nothing, has no core beliefs, is a church that blows in the wind with every wind of doctrine, and Christ warned us of that. Reminds me of WRen's beliefs.
And Jesus said...'Come unto Me, ALL ye who labor, and are heavy laden...and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of me...for My yoke is easy...and My burden light.
The Bahai faith has it's core beliefs...and they are in line with most everything that Jesus taught.Yeah I like how Dubbs says they stand for nothing, I guess the desire for peace, tranquility, the love of all humanity, and equality is nothing too Dubbs...!!!

Dubbs This is the most disgusting thing I have read in a long time. Don't preach to me about my religious view, until you fix your self. Funny you say this after saying you lie to the members about sickness, and tell people to make their church attendence a game. Fix your own life dovie before trying to correct others.

Fix your own life dovie before trying to correct others.Alright my small boxed friend. Show me where I lied about my illness, and why not play church attendance games. If that's how you have to get through it, why not. When my kids were small we played lots of game. When we clean their room we pretend to be pirates, looking for treasure. Clothes became silk, shoes turned into silver and legos shimmer as gold. Then we would put things away in caves (draws) Secret passages (closet) and in treasure chests (toy boy). We weren't pirates at all, but pretended to be. Was it a sick game? Who did it harm? I get the room cleaned and the kids had fun doing it. Same with church, I shake a lot of hands, smile to a lot of people. They go away feeling someone cares, they had a good day, where's the harm? They all resurrect and come back the next week! And we do it all over again. Your comment above. Has harm, it has lasting effects; People read it and react like I did. I showed my hubbie. He said that you are sick man. He said that it was men like you that killed Matthew Shepard. I agreed, No matter what anyone's sexual preference is, they deserve love and respect. You see Dubbs; I don't think it is a choice, I think they come that way. And until we can come to grips with that, we will still act like barbarians. As a so-called Member of God only true religion, as you claim, follow what the Savior teaches. A new commandment I give unto you that ye Love one another.

Yeah I like how Dubbs says they stand for nothing, I guess the desire for peace, tranquility, the love of all humanity, and equality is nothing too Dubbs...!!! Here's the problem with their little list.... 1. Unity of GodWho's God? Are the monotheist or otherwise? Who is God, 2. Unity of religionWho's beliefs? 3. Unity of humankindSounds good on paper, but how do you have unity when you don't have a set of beliefs? Mass confusion is what you get, just as we have now. 4. Gender equalityYes, as I said, stand for nothing. 5. Elimination of all forms of prejudiceAgree with this one, most religions have this however. 6. World peaceAgree here, but unless you have a unifying message, I still would see religious disharmony being a problem. 6. Harmony of religion and scienceNot sure why that is important, God will always trump mans attempts to figure out the meaning of the world. 7. Independent investigation of truthSeems like this would also cause mass confusion without a Prophet.
