So I suppose the Obama express can thank Dukakis as well? Grassroots is effective, apparently no matter which side is working it.
Thereitis: You hate chaffetz. Fine. But you are so stinkin' insulting to those of us who like him. What's up with that? I have a degree from BYU (a lot higher level education than a second-grader) and have been thinking for myself since I was oh, about 10. I am strong-willed, skeptical, generally distrust politicians but have to deal with them regularly and know that MOST are genuine people, who really care.

I make my own decisions, thank you. I voted for Cannon in all previous elections, but this go around, it was clear that Jason was a far better choice. I also dealt with Jason when he was Huntsman's chief of staff and was impressed by his thoughtfulness, his efforts to understand something that was new to him and his reasoned approach to legislation. I also know a number of legislators supporting him in his bid for Congress - several of whom supported him well before the primary. They were all there 4 years ago and obviously have no distaste for the man.
So - vote for BS. You and Jesus can stand by your man. Chaffetz will win - and if he votes left of matheson, I'll be the first to be looking for someone to run against him in two years. Even Dukakis admits that they really have nothing in common politically (except for knowing how to run a kick-butt campaign).
