You know what Eric? I didn't like that screen name either. So, I deleted that account (Truth 24 7). Not because I don't tell the truth or appreciate the truth, but it was kind of dumb. This is my "real" screen name. I've used this for years, so it is me. So there!! Strange, but guess what? I still think the same, and feel the same, and will probably still type the same. So I guess it really doesn't matter all that much.

I do have some interesting questions though. Does your "experience" with screen names mean that Truth Typhoon is truth-challenged, and Proletarian is not a Proletariat? Maybe you just wish you lived in Miami? Hmmmmmmmmm. I just don't know what to think of all this.

Oh, and by the way . . . . I loved your post about the Karr case where you stated that you didn't fall for the media hype. How do you explain, then, that you are just a parrot of what the media pumps out about Bush, Iraq, WMDs, War on Terror, etc? You don't have an original thought in your head. I guess you are "selective" of the media hype you want to parrot. Perhaps you should consider the fact that the media hypes and reports inaccuracies all over the place, including politically. Oh my!!

And, thanks to all of you gave me the 4 Karma points. I don't even know how to do that cuz I am just a Newbie. I think if you look at the ratio of negative to positive Karma points on average, it just means that there are more liberal wackos who are sitting around waiting for someone to take care of them, while the quiet conservative types are out there taking care of business. So of course the wackos have more time to devote to their keyboard and are probably the only ones who really care about giving negative points, cuz they are negative 24-7. Oops!! There it is again.

I'm curious, which "news" was this on . . . the Drudge Report? I watched the local six o'clock news and they said all the rallies today were peaceful and the extra cops on hand really had nothing to do.

I'm not sure how old you are, but MLK didn't protest against "the president," but against institutional racism. He protested against the lack of a voice in the government. He protested for equality in education, voting rights and equal opportunity. The president at the time was LBJ, a Texas (read Southern) Democrat. Was LBJ a racist? Maybe. Were the protests directed at him solely? No.

LBJ did more than any white man in our history, except Lincoln, to further the cause of civil rights. Without LBJ, the civil rights act and voting rights act would never have passed congress. When LBJ signed the civil rights act in 1964, he said to his aides, "we just gave the south to the Republicans for the next generation". He was right, and he did the right thing knowing that it would have terrible consequences for himself and his party.

I need to hear more good things about LBJ.

Not everything about LBJ is good. He was corrupt, dishonest, and a womanizer. He got us into Vietnam even though he thought it was an unwinnable war. He just thought the Republicans would call him soft on communism if he didn't. He vastly overreached on his war on poverty programs. But, on the biggest issues of his time, civil rights, he was a giant.


My dislike for him because of Viet Nam over shadows his civil rights stand.

Oh! I remember Lady Bird's Beautification of America program, what a croc, while over 50,000 of our brothers and sister were being killed in that stinking war. It's been over 40 years, it is time for me to let it all go.


Yeah. And "that stinking war" was started by John F. Kennedy and ended by Nixon, a Republican, with as much honor as could be expected when you had the rabid Liberals sabotaging the effort because they couldn't accept the draft.

bbboss, you've just described most conservatives if you replace fictional movies (ever notice that are it often used for social commentary, of course not) with talk radio and apply the use of the occult to guide their lives that you associated with the Nazis.
