BTW: I noticed on the news how the "peaceful" Rocky supporters attacked a guy with a sign supporting the troops...yea, you guys really care about the soldiers...another laughable hoax.
I'm curious, which "news" was this on . . . the Drudge Report? I watched the local six o'clock news and they said all the rallies today were peaceful and the extra cops on hand really had nothing to do.
update: No mention of this "attack" on the 10 o'clock news as well. Do you have a link or reference for this bbboss?
What were you watching NaL, the liberal, church-owned channel 5? You can't expect truth from such a group of comlibs. ;D LOL . . . my bad. BTW, I saw this in this morning's Trib . . . http://www.sltrib.com/ci_4265361#Check out the photo with the following caption: Pro-Bush advocates, left, get physical with Nate Smith as he responds to Orrin Hatch's comments at the pro-Bush rally at Washington square Wednesday night. I still haven't seen any mention of what bbboss casually intimated yesterday. :

So, Woody....
Does World Trade Center feature a 9-11 attack that results in a justified war against Iraq? Is that why I should go see it? Does Osama (played by Sean Hannity, maybe?) declare his Iraqi citizenship and move to Baghdad? Is that why this movie is a valid justification of Bush's actions?
Inquiring minds (particularly this New Yorker's) want to know.
Like I said, go see the movie and then see if you can come back and spew your filth...
You do realize those are just actors and special effects, right?
REALITY CHECK.....
True enough. They are just actors and special effects. I haven't seen this movie yet, but I intend to as soon as it is released on DVD.
I watched "Flight 93". Again...just actors and special effects. But very effective at any rate.
Actors portraying real people, who experienced real attacks, real terror, injuries, and death.
There is no way for us to experience the full extent of what they did. But these movies are at least a start.
I have friends and relatives who live in NYC, and in Brooklyn. Some of them are NYPD, some are FDNYC, and one transferred from the NYPD to become an officer for the Port Authority right after 9/11.
They were there on 9/11. They remember the terror they personally experienced, the terror on the faces of those they managed to rescue, and the horror of seeing people falling from the sky after leaping from the Towers to escape the heat and the flames.
And they will never forget the sight of these people hitting the ground, the sound of it, nor the sight of it.
They will also never forget the day President Bush came to view the devastation, the sight of that old woman giving him her dead son's badge.
If you ask them, or the majority of their friends, relatives and co-workers, or the friends or relatives of the men and women who were lost that day as they risked their lives to help others...they don't believe that this war on terror is unjustified.

Well Woody, since you are so supportive of the war in Iraq I can assume that if you any sons you will send them off to the recruiting office when they turn 18.
I don't want to get in the middle of an internicene conflict, but anonimity is the best and bane of the internet boards. None of us know if another's son or daughter is in harm's way or smoking pot in a dorm. I can tell you that I spent 27 years in the service, was in Vietnam, Gulf 1, Bosnia and other conflicts. You may or may not believe me. I can tell you I was in the Trade Center on 9/11, and you won't know if it's true or not. That's both a good and bad thing. The degenerative nature of the conversations here tend, in my opinion, fall to the lowest common denominator of right versus left, non or ex-LDS versus LDS Member, even patriot versus patriot. Raise the conversation, respect the viewpoint and return to reality. BTW, I was in the Air Force for 27 years, my eldest is currently in Iraq, and I was on the 23rd floor of the Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
Thank you for your years of honorable service to your country, and please offer my sincerest thanks to your son for his honorable service as well.
I give thanks for your good fortune, that your life was preserved during your many years of service, and upon that fateful day in NYC. Talk about a guardian angel working overtime.
I sincerely hope that your son also returns from Iraq with his life and his body intact. I consider these young men and women to be heroes...every last one.
You are absolutely correct in this P.N.O. A person could claim to be anybody, and anything on this forum. It may be God's own truth, or it may be a lie.
We don't know. But people tend to jump to alot of conclusions without benefit of absolute knowledge of whether they are being told the truth, or lied to.
If they don't agree...they'll accuse you of lying. If they agree, they laud you for your honesty.
And THAT...is just the way it is here on the forum.

Your syntax is laughable.
Your cowardly pretense at being a patriot is not laughable. Get out from behind that keyboard and enlist in the armed forces. You wouldn't have lasted long in my outfit in Vietnam.
Who are you talking to?
Woody. S**t for brains, Woody.
When you have run out of things to help back up your moronic view---resort to swearing....
When I run out, I will. Just thank your lucky stars you weren't in my outfit in Vietnam.
How do you know that he wasn't Eric? for that matter...how do we know that you WERE in VietNam?
If Woody WERE in your outfit in VietNam...what might have happened to him? Would he have been in peril of being 'fragged' by you or the others...perhaps?

Woody, you seem very comfortable calling liberals "baby killers." Very convenient that you're doing so from the cover and anonymity of a computer. Say that sh*t to my face, and we'd have a problem. Let me just say you're very lucky that you don't know me.
As for Rocky protesting Bush, I think it's fantastic. Bush is the lowest form of pond scum that I've had the misfortune to live under in my 28 years. Anderson actually has a conscience, that's why he feels it necessary to speak up. To speak up for the 100,000+ Iraqis that have been victims of Bush's murderous campaign. Woody talks about how he hates liberals and their baby-killing ways. I guess he prefers Bush who kills men, women, and children. Equal opportunity. How anybody could, in this day and age, support Bush is beyond belief. He's running this country, Iraq, and the earth into the ground and the bulk of Utahns raise their collective hand and ask "what can I do to help?" This coming from a "God-fearing" people. Oh, the hypocrisy. My head is starting to hurt. I'd better stop.
Having fun reading the lies on the loony left wing blog sites? I read Anderson's column in the Tribune on Sunday....after the third or fourth outright lie, I had to quit. Now you get to parrot the lies...you and your lying military hating, Bush bashing crowd are lower than pond scum. The hypocrisy far left is vomitous. After the second or third condescending "brave American soldiers" in Rocky's column, I wanted to vomit. I'll be at Rocky's "protest" just to support those Americans that have a semblense of respect to our country. You don't, and neither does that idiot, Rocky or you wouldn't spew out those lies about the President and by proxy, American soldiers.
BTW: Mr Worldly with your vast knowledge and experience, I have a callous on my foot older than 28 years old.
Be patient with the lad Bbboss...I suspect that most of us thought that we knew it all when we were 28.

I could care less if you know or don't know if I was in Vietnam. You must be a very nice person to come to the aid of one of your helpless bretheren.
