Woody, you seem very comfortable calling liberals "baby killers." Very convenient that you're doing so from the cover and anonymity of a computer. Say that sh*t to my face, and we'd have a problem. Let me just say you're very lucky that you don't know me.

As for Rocky protesting Bush, I think it's fantastic. Bush is the lowest form of pond scum that I've had the misfortune to live under in my 28 years. Anderson actually has a conscience, that's why he feels it necessary to speak up. To speak up for the 100,000+ Iraqis that have been victims of Bush's murderous campaign. Woody talks about how he hates liberals and their baby-killing ways. I guess he prefers Bush who kills men, women, and children. Equal opportunity. How anybody could, in this day and age, support Bush is beyond belief. He's running this country, Iraq, and the earth into the ground and the bulk of Utahns raise their collective hand and ask "what can I do to help?" This coming from a "God-fearing" people. Oh, the hypocrisy. My head is starting to hurt. I'd better stop.

Having fun reading the lies on the loony left wing blog sites? I read Anderson's column in the Tribune on Sunday....after the third or fourth outright lie, I had to quit. Now you get to parrot the lies...you and your lying military hating, Bush bashing crowd are lower than pond scum. The hypocrisy far left is vomitous. After the second or third condescending "brave American soldiers" in Rocky's column, I wanted to vomit. I'll be at Rocky's "protest" just to support those Americans that have a semblense of respect to our country. You don't, and neither does that idiot, Rocky or you wouldn't spew out those lies about the President and by proxy, American soldiers.

BTW: Mr Worldly with your vast knowledge and experience, I have a callous on my foot older than 28 years old.

I understand that Mayor Anderson and Cindy Sheehan respect and honor those members of the American Legion who have sacrificed in wars of the past, I think.

Neither one of these individuals could care less about members of the American Legion.....in fact, Cindy is a "card carrying" Jew baiting, anti-Semite. And by association, I put the idiot Rocky in the same book.

Note; taken by David Duke and his ilk at their most recent recruiting website, NoWarForIsrael.com" " a point Duke concedes. On his August 14 web broadcast, the alleged plastic surgery aficionado read an e-mail Cindy Sheehan sent to the producer of Ted Koppels "Nightline," in which she wrote:

Quote from Cindy; "my first born was murdered. Am I angry? Yes, he was killed for lies and for a PNAC [Project for a New American Century] Neo-Con agenda to benefit Israel. My son joined the Army to protect America, not Israel".

This is who the idiot, the Mayor of SLC has invited our city. He should be ashamed of himself, but I suspect he hates Jews almost as much as he hates the President so I doubt he has any shame at all.

I don't agree with Ross Anderson on many things, and I will not call him Rocky, his legal given name is Ross. But I do agree with him here in pretesting King George. I agree with the other posters in that Utah is the real embarrassment here. In a country that is really starting to despise Bush, (and I do believe these poll numbers.)
Utah still continues to overwhelmingly still support this evil man. It sickens me to see such stupidity here in my state. The government is thouroughly corrupt, yet the people in Utah (those poll numbers again) still support it. I am utterly opposed to those that seek to take away my liberties and enslave me and everyone else in this country. Is it some tiny little country in the Middle East that is trying to do this with their "WMD's"? Of course not. I am not concerned about any of those tiny countries thousands of miles away doing us any real harm. Having said that, I still believe the Soviet Union and China are the biggest outside threat to us. then there is the invasion taking place at our southern border with all those criminal aliens coming over and trying to take the western US away from us and claim it for Mexico.
To me the biggest threat comes not from without, it comes from within. Inside our own government. They are the ones taking away our liberties piece by piece and enslaving us with legislation. Yet most people put up with it and even support it, and the people that are taking it from us within our own state. Namely pretend Senator Hatch, pretend Senator Bennett, and Chris "amnesty" Cannon at the forefront. When are people going to wake up and stop supporting these traitors.

Again you have summarized the issue in a very accurate and excerpting manner of millions of Americans thoughts and feelings. Thank you

You are welcome.

American Patriot,

I am totally in agreement with the essence of your comment, and the naming of Chris Cannon as a pretender to serve the State of Utah citizenship.

However, when it comes to Senator Orrin Hatch and Robert Bennett I do not share your thoughts and feelings for a number of reasons.

"To me the biggest threat comes not from without, it comes from within" this is what I believe to be the essence of you comment. I must continue to remind myself that all the law makers and the President of the United States are voted into their positions of responsibilities by the citizens of our country. Therefore the core of the threat that comes from within lies with the American Citizenship.

The responsibility for voting in a person that is a religious fanatic and has the ability to dupe a willing citizenship in believing that an alcoholic playboy that avoided going to Viet Nam and a true War hero such as John Kerry is better prepared to lead our country, this is but one example of where the internal problem lies.

As for Senator Orrin Hatch and Robert Bennett from my perspective they are outstanding Utah Citizens advocates. As you and I are well aware a good part of the make up of their constituencies is LDS. I believe between the two or them they work the Washington political system like to magical magicians that are willing to exhibit one thing to the American public while accomplishing much good behind the scenes.

Again I would like to thank you for your comment.

One of the problems I have with our elected federal officials is when they start taking power that does not belong to them. Or when they start legislating in areas where thay are not granted power to do so in the Constitution. They are enumerated certain powers in the Constitution, nothing more. Everything else is left to the states and to the people. Unfortunately the politicians ahve taken it upon themselves to legislate every bit of our lives. Everytime I turn around, they have passed a new law prohibiting something or other, or taking away another one of my precious liberties. They have decimated the Bill of Rights in the name of the "war on terror." For many years they have been chipping away at our second amendment rights. We no longer a have a complete guarentee of a speedy trial or even a trial at all. We can be labeled terrorists or enemy combacombatants locked away indefindefinitelyAnother problem I have is with two Constitutional Amendments, the 16 and 17. I have done a lot of reading, and I believe, from what I have read and heard that neither one of them was legally ratified. They were just declared to be so back at the time, because it was another measure of control over us. Tax our money, and you control how much we get. Change the way Senators are put into office, and you take power away from the states who should be able to reign in these Senators hen they are not doing what they are elected to do.

The problems I have with Mr Hatch is in part that he is a hypocrite, he says to another Senator that he has been in office too long (about 30 years) and that he needs to retire, but he too has been in office for 30 years. Why doesn't he retire? I have a problem with all the legislation he has promoted and supported. He pushed hard for the so called Patriot act, he is leading the charge on the DREAM act. He works to get a drug dealer realeased from prison in another country because he is a musican on the same label as he is. I could go on, but I am sure you get my point. All of these politicians are corrupt to one degree or another. They may be good on one or two issues, but in the long run they don't really represent we the people. They have sold out to the highest bidder. Yes, we have elected them, but we elect them based on what they say, but then they turn around and do just the opposite once they have been reelected. It is way past time to clean house. Get rid of all of them and take back this country. I do't know if it is even possible any more, but one can only hope. But that would require the people to wake up and realize what has been happening all around them.

But that would require the people to wake up and realize what has been happening all around them. Within these words lies the answer to everyone of your concerns. You are a very bright fellow. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings.

I personally have hope in our Democracy.

Ugh, I think I lived next to this guy growing up. He wouldn't even let his daughters wear skirts to school! Flashing their bare legs might instill a sense of immorality i guess.

Bring on Sheehan. All Republicans and Conservatives, lets have a rally to beat out Sheehan! In fact there is one being organized for Wed. night at 7pm, and Pres. Bush will attend. Call me a hopeful, but even though I disagree with the Pres. in many areas, he is still my President, and I worked hard to get him elected and re-elected. I'm excited that he's coming to Utah. And I hope that Rocky never wins another election because he broke the political line, and is openly against Bush now.
