Why is it so hard to post comments to news stories now?

This site has gone way down hill as to being able to respond to things.

Or does the Herald just not want us to comment any more?

I wanted to comment on the article "Poll changes befuddle Utah County voters" but there is no where to reply to that article.

So, I came here to see if there was a way, but I still don't see one.

Guess I could start a thread with it, but it seems like they are making things harder and harder to participate on this site.

I'm pretty sure they don't want comments or that ability would still be part of the online news item. It took me quite a bit of time to find a place to comment about the very same thing.

The new website is a mess, badly organize, clunky looking, hard to use, why should we be surprised they didn't want to make it easy to comment?

I've wanted to comment about various stories since the "re-design" and just tonight figured out where they hid it.

Sorry to come back in so soon, I just noticed the Obit web page still has the old style on it. Nothing works, more's the pity, you can't use it to navigate the morass the new designers built.
