Isn't it much better since the ignore came down? Life is so much better not having to respond to the three smarmy sisters of negativity, ahhh, it's like a load has been lifted, they never made an intelligent post anyway, so what are we missing? NOTHING!
My ignore list... Betz, Kitkat, and the blonde. They have nothing of substance to say anyway, but just like to add smarmy comments to the conversations, so why bother with the the constant smariness?

You can spin it any way you want about how wholesome there show will be. And I have no reason to doubt it, but I promise you, not more than 1000 feet from their Flamingo Showroom a 14 year old from Montana will be turning tricks.
Count on it.
Prostitution is the oldest profession in the world. Until such time as the populace continues to tolerate it...it will continue...or until such time as the Lord returns to reign.
Just what do you want Donny and Marie to do about it?
Religious demographics for Las Vegas indicate at least an 11% LDS population. And who's to say how many Mormons travel to, and through Las Vegas for business and recreation?
T.T....just why is it that you allow your hatred of all things Mormon to dominate your life?

Oh relax, Vegas has family shows all the time, they are trying to gear parts of Vegas to the family environment in shows and entertainment. So Donny and Marie area good alternative to Vegas sin, I think it is a good fit. I see nothing wrong with it. We will see. Marie was on Dancing with the Stars, remember? Did you see her outfit? It wasn't exactly what someone who has been thru the Temple should have been wearing.
Don't get me wrong, I love this family. I've known them from WAY back before fame hit them. I was a classmate of one of the older boys.
But still, once we've been to the Temple, the same rules apply to all of us.
I have no problem with someone wearing an outfit for a one night dance special as an entertainer. It's a personal choice that really you questioning is none of your business. You like to me stuffy. Geez. Did you read the post Jaye put up that was about a couple getting marriage advice prior to a Temple Marriage? I suppose you didn't read it...
The person advising the couple told them that their garments should NOT be removed, not even for yard work, etc. It did make an exception for some sports. It went so far as to say if you had a hobby that required removal of your garments, to find a new hobby.
Apparently, you didn't get what I meant about Marie. If a 'gig' in Las Vegas is going to have her dressing immodestly every night, then she needs a new gig. This is in accordance with the advice the young couple got (above). Let's just say I know the family better than you do. I am still in touch all the time with one of the older boys. I even talk to him on the phone alot.
I'm stuffy? You wish. I disregarded the advice I got prior to my temple marriage. I garden and do yard work is shorts and a tank top. But, I'm not out in public in front of thousands of people flaunting my body. So stuff it!
I wonder how BYU cheer-leaders get past it once they've been married.
I do believe that the Church has granted certain dispensations for members who must wear certain 'uniforms' or costumes at work.
In the hottest part of summer...I don't don the Gees. Too hot.

Typical Kitkat. Sad really. In the privacy of my back yard is a little different than being on stage in front of the whole world.
Ahh, so if no one can see your actions, then there OK? Got it. Not what the church teaches, but OK kitkat, just one of the many contradictions that is you.So...in YOUR opinion...if KitKat doesn't wear her garments while gardening in the privacy of her own backyard...she is going against Church teachings. But if MARIE doesn't wear them on stage, in public, and in some cases...on television for the world to see...it's alright because it's her personal choice? Oy-flippin-VEY! Talk about bloody contradictions.
