Nope. The bottom line is the deceased has no say ergo let them stand as they lived, proudly and correctly in history as in life. IF any living person wishes a ceremony for their loved one at the time they pass that is fine. If it is in conflict with a deceased person's religious choice in life, not fine.

I mean this isn't brain science. It doesn't matter what ANY religion believes, you can't kidnap dead people for your own expediency. No matter the religion.

Your not understanding the concept, we are not baptising them into the church and calling them a Mormon, the person has the choice to accept the baptism or not. So really, if they don't want it, they can say so. big whoop.

Also, it is usually the relatives who turn in our names for the work to be done. So it is their right to do this.

A relative has a right to do this? Give me a @#!@ing break Dubbs. Do they also have "right to your "estate" ?
Pleasssssssse pull your head out!!

If you don't believe in it, why would it bother you so? Does it eat at you knowing it is truth? I think so.

The only thing that I find interesting is that there is no Mormon who would allow me to, say, baptize Joseph Smith as a Catholic would you? Absolutely unbelievable to not only do it but stick up for it as if you see no wrong in messing with the deceased and justifying it with some distant minor blood line diluted into inconsequential lineage making it ok. There is nothing right about this whatsoever.

Your problem is you don't respect the religious beliefs of others.

I would find no problem if the Satans church of the devil baptized any of my relatives, for I know they are of no affect on me or my family.

I know you don't respect any others' religious beliefs. You have bashed time and time again on the forum.

So get off it. Now.

I have always been respectful in telling the truth about it. I think it is a fine church. It simply is not the true church, in my opinion.

You demonstrate daily that you do not follow its teachings.
