Actually, is is not so much us fighting them as it is them fighting each other, with us (as in U.S.) in the middle. We are policing a civil war...did you not get the memo, Ray? Perhaps Bush did not tell you, being as he only recently figured it out.

And we are not fighting Muslims, we are fighting extremists and insurgents who happen to be Muslim. Big difference. By your warped logic, we were fighting "Christians" in WW1 and WW2, as the Germans and Italians were, you guessed it, predominantly Christian. Why don't you worry about why you choose to live in a nation that you clearly hate. Not all muslims are they enemy? Tell me the last time you heard of a non-muslim terrorist.
