Gun control: Mandatory registration and thorough background checks for all, but I don't forbid folks having weapons, even assault rifles. Only a dimwitted fool would not want registration and background checks with all the nuts running around.
Death penalty: All for it in cases where it is warranted, i.e. aggravated or capital murder.
Gay marriage: A matter of semantics. Marriage is between a man and woman. I do, however, favor civil unions for gays with the same legal benefits of marriage.
Abortion: Hate it. Should only be used in the case of rape, incest, or when a mother's life is in danger. I believe women who become pregnant and don't want the child should have it and place it for adoption. However, it is not a legislative issue at present. The Supreme Court has previously given the OK, and until that changes, that's the way it is.

Tell me, though, how you can be against abortion and then not give a damn about kids with no health insurance?
