The delegates are figuring out how Cannon works and that he knows how to rig an election.

Gregg Hawkins ran in a three way race with Cannon and Throckmorton. BECAUSE of the split of the opposition vote, Cannon won.

Then,

John Jacob ran in a three way race with Cannon and Cook. BECAUSE of the split, Cannon won again.

Then,

Once again, David Leavitt ran in a three way race with Cannon and Chaffetz. In this race, it didn't work! Chaffetz missed taking out Cannon by 6 votes. Leavitt actually violated the rules of the convention by campaigning on the floor of the convention for Cannon! Now, we are in another primary.

Does anyone see a pattern here?

Maybe, just maybe, the delegates, who obviously have figured out what Cannon and his stalking horse candidates are doing to split the opposition vote, can get the message to the public about the game that Cannon continues to play to stay in office.

It is definitely time we threw this manipulative liar out of office!

Huntsman's weakest point among voters in the state was his past support for a private school voucher program. Huntsman signed a voucher bill into law that was later overturned by voters in a referendum before any vouchers were issued.

Notice that Springmeyer left out Utah being overrun by illegal aliens and Huntsman's backroom deals with Mexico?

Although arguably better than his Democrat predecessor, Cannon has given me many frustrations over the years. So, I'm delighted to see someone like Chaffetz running who seems devoted to those principles in which I believe. I look forward to supporting his campaign--and voting for him in this year's primary elections.

Leavitt's blatant rule-breaking to boost Cannon's support disgusted me. But, from what I'd sensed about him, it didn't surprise me.

It is sad to know taht the taxpayers will be paying for his retirement after he is ousted but still worth the cost to keep Bush's buddy out of Washington.
Any past Republican legislator is going to be removed from committees and his office will be moved to the basement after November's elections. The House will continue gaining Democrats due to the years of lockstep "yes sirs" from the Republican Reich Wingers of which Cannon was a flag bearer.

If Mike Ridgway is supporting Chaffetz - he's not for me. Is this the same Ridgway that gets arrested for making a scene ever time he's at a convention? Is this the same Ridgway who was ousted by the Republican Party?

Candidates like Chaffetz only marginalize the Republicans. I hope that people can see through this nonsense.

Somebody needs to make a scene with the Utah Republicans and if Mike is willing to do it then more power to him. I have watched for many years the corruptness of the insider's club in the Utah Republican Party. I have had to deal with some of them and let me tell you, I have never seen such a power hungry crowd in my life. The way this crowd keeps getting elected and re-elected is nearly incestuous. I left the Republican Party because it has quit representing me but I'll probably vote for Chaffetz if it will help to unseat Cannon and maybe, just maybe, start bringing the Republican Party back to it's core values.

Here's a new idea for you......If you are unhappy with the Republicant's party...sssh... there is is another party on the ticket. I won't tell your neighbor and he won't tell you he voted for a change either.
