How could anyone know that using in-line skates is a disability aid? This does not seem like a reasonable accommodation unless he actually informs people of the reason he uses them.

The store is among many others who ban skates to prevent accidents when they run into other customers.

this is guy mooch for money. if he got hit a bus and got hurt. i think he should ride a skate. you should ride a wheelchair or a walker. i guess forgot one rule in every building is no skateboard or rollor blaze inside. so i think he try to get people felt sorry so can get lot of money. so if i was the judge i throw the bbok at him.

It sounds like this guy should be tried for being and Extortionist. I do not know of rollerblades being a "medical assistant device". He probably will fall down and hurt himself inside the store and than file a lawsuit because the owner allowed him to use rollerbaldes in the store. I wounder if he has a job or is this his career? My guess is that he is out on disability and working with an attorney who is filing these lawsuits on his behalf. Just a guess and my humble opinion!

Am I the only one concerned with his lack of protection? He should at least have a helmet on.
