Why is it that we have non stop articles about how Palin has no experience and yet we don't have any about how Obama has no experience?
I would think that a person with little experience running for the office of Vice President would be a lot more preferable than a person with little experience running for the office of President.
Too bad we can't have fair and unbiased reporting any more.Obama's lack of experience is, in my opinion, a very real issue. However, I think that Obama is simply smarter and more prepared than Palin for what lies ahead.
I don't think he is better prepared than McCain, but that is a different story.Obama has been preparing for this for years, he's surrounded himself with other smart people, he's listened to what the nation wants, he felt the waters, etc. Meanwhile, Mrs. Palin has been Mayor and then Governor of a state far removed from the daily ins-and-outs of Washington beuocracy. She was literally plucked up and transplanted into the prospective VP role, and given a crash course in McCain doctrine.
Now, I don't necessary think this had to be a bad thing if Mrs. Palin could have proven that she was capable of jumping in feet first. Sadly, my initial high hopes for her haven't come to fruition in my eyes, and so I have to grudgingly admit that she was not, as I originally thought, a good VP pick. I think she is smart. I still like her, even if others don't. I support a lot of what she has done in the past and I'm willing to take the bad with the good - she is, after all, only human. But compared with the likes of Biden, McCain and even Obama she is out of her league and it shows. She could still surprise though, I don't rule her out entirely. I'm keeping in mind that she is still there to get McCain elected, first and fore most. Her own politics, views, etc. won't really come in to play fully unless she fulfills that requirement first.
However the election plays out, we have not seen the last of Sarah Palin.
