So far, I like it. I could swear that I had my email address "hidden to the world" but with the new site it was visible to everyone. That could be my mistake, I don't know.

Other than that, everything is just new and will take a little getting used to.

I really like the fact that I can edit my posts now. It is nice to correct a spelling mistake or add a little if the thought is not clear.

I also really like the idea of making the anonymous people go away and force everyone to sign up. This will definitely help the flow of conversation.

Congratulations on a job well done. Also, I see a couple of you admin guys posting stuff. Are we going to be seeing admins on this board regularly? That is also a plus, in my opinion.

We are setting everyone's email to hidden right now. If you would like your email listed then you will need to edit your profile.

All new users will be asked upon registration which they would prefer.

Like the new site and features. I think mandatory registration is great, as well as the karma features, reporting features, and expanded options.

One thing I would like to see, is an addition to the help section. There is a section on how to do just about anything, except for how to go about reading messages. That sounds basic, but I mean features such as the "karma" rating, the [applaud] and [smite] features, the "report to moderator" button, etc. Maybe a set of guidelines as to what is acceptable and what is not so that people know what to report and what not to report. Maybe the link for that could be right under the report button?

One bug I found is that for some reason I can't preview my posts. It says "Fetching Preview..." up above, but never does anything. Down below, in my IE bar (left side) it says, "Error on Page."

Oh, and one more thing. It looks like some people are still able to post comments while being anonymous. Here's just one example of such a comment: http://www.heraldextra.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,/topic,131.72

I liked it better the old way but it's only been up a couple days i may get used to it.
