Eureka Elks hold Flag Day services

Prior to the Little League baseball game on Tues. the B.P.O. Elks #711 of Eureka held their annual flag day service.

With over 70 vendors, activities for the kids, and plenty of outdoor hunting and fishing the Wasatch Mountain Outdoor Expo was the place to be this Father's Day Weekend. The event was held on Friday, June 13 and Saturday June 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds. Country music star Aaron Tippin performed on Friday evening, and a variety of music was performed on Saturday evening.

On April 16, the Eureka Seniors enjoyed a ham dinner prepared by Grace Conder and Susan Fields. President Lloyd Conder welcomed and announcemed that Henry Wall had passed away, Frances Ewell had eye surgery and Jerald Dean was ill. Seniors are advised to void the pain of shingles; shots are available.

Bill White of Goshen has lost some trees. Well, maybe he didn t lose them - someone took them. White and his family were preparing some land a few miles west of Eureka for building a home. They had carefully removed the trees that would be in the way of the new building. They had left some of the larger pinyon pines for shade.
