I don t know how others feel, but it is just to hot to cook. I do enjoy a good salad though. But then I like salads anytime. My niece, Annie Heaps, made a delicious salad for a missionary farewell party once and I fell in love with it. I thought I would share that recipe with all of you readers.

Chief Santaquin Camp of The Daughters of Utah Pioneer, had their summer outing. Eight of the Daughters made a trip to the Daughters of Utah Pioneers museum in Salt Lake City on Wednesday, June the 18th.

NEBO Stickney cabin up date w/2pix

On Thursday June the 19th the first dirt was removed to get ready for the Stickney Cabin to be moved next to the Library. The Captains of Summit Camp, and Chief Santaquin Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Dawn Warenski and Rae Elsberry, were present. Also their chair people , Nell Morgan and Zaloma Goodall. Wes Morgan was present also. He is in charge of the restoration of the Cabin.

The Payson Family Pet Hospital has two adorable cats they would like to have adopted. Kurtis is 10 weeks old and is a male. He's very lovable is very mellow and cute. Pirate is 11 weeks old an is a female that is very sweet. She has two broken legs but gts along as normally as a little kitten should. Iceland Days entertains and educates many

Spanish Fork has a strong Icelandic heritage.¬  And each year the Icelandic Association of Utah honors that heritage by hosting Iceland Days.¬  For three days people gather to learn more about Iceland and their ancestors.
