Alpine Alpine undecided on Three Falls access road The residents of Alpine Cove showed up in numbers to protest a proposed road that would connect the Three Falls Subdivision with their neighborhood. Residents of the Cove had earlier signed a petition to be heard at the meeting. Stamp Out Hunger -- Utah letter carriers will hold their annual food drive on Saturday and Utahns are encouraged to participate by placing non-perishable food in a bag near their mailbox prior to mail delivery. The drive, in its 16th year, is the largest one-day food collection in the nation. Scientists to locate unmarked graves An abundance of history is there to be found at the Alpine City Cemetery. Walking the grounds can be an adventure, but there is a layer of history that is as of yet unseen. Westfield students form service club A class of kids sat huddled together against the back of a maintenance building at Westfield Elementary School trying to avoid the cold wind blowing hard and chilling everyone it touched. The fifth-grade class has gotten together to plant a tree to celebrate Arbor Day and to show service to their school. Alpine Community Theater musical auditions for 'Seussical' Auditions for Alpine Community Theater (ACT) summer production of "Seussical, The Musical" begin on Saturday at Timberline Middle School in Alpine. Audition times are 9 a.m. to noon for boys and girls ages 8-12, 12:30-2:30 p.m. for¬ adults ages 19 and older, and 1:30-4:30 p.m. for teens ages 13-18.
