Orem police beat Print

FALSE INFORMATION/WARRANT -- An 18-year-old Orem man was booked into the Utah County Jail Monday after Officer Travis Anderson stopped a black Land Rover Monday in the area of 500 N. 800 West for a traffic violation. The driver told Anderson that he didn't have identification with him and that his name was Kory. The officer became suspicious because the young man's work shirt had the name Colton on it. When that was pointed out, the man became nervous enough to convince the officer he must be lying about his name. It was discovered that "Kory" was really Colton Davis, who had a suspended drivers license and a warrant of arrest out on him for contempt of court. He was arrested and booked into the Utah County jail.

ASSAULT -- Two white men were walking into Rancheritos (formerly Betos) at 66 W. Center Street early Saturday morning, May 10, when they were accosted by 19-year-old Adam Sisouphanh, of Orem, and 20-year-old Makolson Antoine, of Provo. A witness, unassociated with either group, called the police to report the fight. He told officers that Antoine and Sisouphanh had tried to start a fight with him too but he refused to get out of his car. When the officers arrived and got things sorted out, they found that Sisouphanh and Antoine were the agressors in the situation. Antoine's girlfriend had been trying to get Antoine out of the fight and told officers, referring to Sisouphanh and Antoine, "These guys love to fight." Sisouphanh and Antoine were arrested and booked into the Utah County jail on charges of assault, disorderly conduct, and unlawful possession of alcohol by consumption.

I have a fever, a touch of spring fever that is. My favorite part about the spring is planting my flowers, and garden. The only problem I have this year is that our yard is full of rocks, weeds, and too many lumps and bumps to plant a garden.
