MT. PLEASANT-- North Sanpete High School held their semiannual awards ceremony on Thursday, May 22 celebrating the success of many students during the last semester.¬ Over 40 individuals were given awards that were awarded by the faculty at the school.

EPHRAIM-- After their graduation, seniors need an outlet for all of their energy and enthusiasm.¬  Unfortunately for many this can mean activities that are not safe or healthy for new graduates that are getting ready to head to college or the work force.

Two North Sanpete High seniors were presented with the National Scholar/Athlete Award from the U.S. Army Reserve for academic and athletic excellence at the awards assembly held May 22. Sylvia Bedford, daughter of Bill and Cindy Bedford, Faiview; and Tyler Daniels, son of Brent and Pamela Daniels, Mt. Pleasant, were given this prestigious award that is presented to only 15 seniors nationally each year for keeping outstanding grades while particpating in athletics throughtout their high school years.

MT. PLEASANT-- Fourth through sixth graders from all of the North Sanpete elementary schools competed at Track and Field Day, May 19, at the North Sanpete High School stadium.
