BYU entrepreneurship professor gets $5,000 grant to study family businesses -- Brigham Young University entrepreneurship professor W. Gibb Dyer received a $5,000 grant from the Family-Owned Business Institute to study how family-owned businesses affect relationships. The study also received a $5,000 grant from BYU's Marriott School.

State attorney generals blame home loan lender's practices for causing thousands of foreclosures

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- California Attorney General Jerry Brown filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the nation's largest home loan lender, charging Calabassas, Calif.-based Countrywide Financial Corp. with deceptively pushing homeowners into risky, mass-produced loans that have caused thousands of residents across the state to lose their homes.
