The Covey Center for the Arts presents "Prospectus," an exhibit by painters Heidi Adkins of Pleasant Grove, Anne Weber of Springville and sculptor Heidi Moller Somsen of Sandy, August 1 through 28. The Covey Center for the Arts is located at 425 W. Center Street, Provo. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and during performances.

SHS Girls Tennis tryouts

Tryouts for the Springville High School Girls Tennis Team will be held starting August 4th at 5 p.m. at the high school tennis courts.

Hole-in-one at Hobble Creek!

Laurel Braun made a hole-in-one on hole #16 from 120 yards at Hobble Creek Golf Course. It was witnessed by Collette Binks and Carol Warren.

This year at Mapleton Junior High School the seventh graders will have the opportunity to participate in the "Mustang Round-up."
