Klune Industries of Spanish Fork hosted an employee breakfast and unveiled their TAC-V utility vehicle to Congressman Chris Cannon last Friday. The TAC-V is a new concept in military-type utility vehicles. Designed to fit into a V-22 raptor or other narrow aircraft, it still provides armor that protects personnel inside better than many of the vehicles now in use in Iraq. The TAC-V will carry a fully equipped four-man squad. When heavy protection is not required, the armor can be off-loaded or swapped with other types to provide a vehicle with better performance.
