Bruce Richeson, State Executive Director of USDA's Farm Service Agency in Utah says that signup beings today for the 2008 Direct and Counter-cyclical Payment Program (DCP) helps deliver certainty for the crop year and the option of a timely advance payment. Contracts are available today at USDA Service Centers and signup will continue until September 30, 2008. USDA's DCP readiness follows the June 12 availability of marketing assistance loan and loan deficiency payment (LDP) provisions, within three weeks of commodity title enactment.

Employees suffering from headaches at work are less productive, more prone to miss days Experiencing headaches at work is not only painful for employees, but can be costly to employers, according to the National Headache Foundation (NHF). In a recent survey of headache sufferers, the NHF found that 99% of respondents experience headaches while on the job. ¬ Respondents say headaches lead to missed days of work, decreased productivity, inability to concentrate, and changes in mood or behavior.
