lehi community briefs 5.15 Print E-mail

UDOT contest -- For the first time in Utah's history, elementary school students had the chance to name a new state road, the east-west corridor project that will generally follow Lehi's 10th South alignment. UDOT will announce the name at an assembly May 19 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Snow Springs Elementary School, 850 South 1700 West in Lehi.

Alpine resident returns to West Africa to build schools Print E-mail

In Mali, West Africa there are so few middle schools most rural students have to walk more than 10 miles a day to attend. There is no public transportation. Many, mostly girls, drop out.
