CPAP Support Group -- The Central Utah Clinic CPAP Support Group will meet Monday, July 7, at 6 p.m. at 3650 N. University Ave., Suite 125, Provo. The meeting will feature a "Talk with the Doc" featuring Dr. John Staheli M.D., sleep specialist. Refreshments will be served. Space limited so please RSVP 227-7378.

Used car seats? -- Safe Kids Utah and the Utah County Health Department's Injury Prevention Program recommends against purchasing a car seat at a garage sale or thrift store. Often these seats are missing parts, damaged or on recall. There is no way to check them thoroughly without the complete manufacturer's instruction booklet. They may even have invisible damage from a crash.

UVU, community fete school's university status Print E-mail

On Monday, thousands attended an all-day party on campus on the eve of Utah Valley University in Orem officially receiving university status. The next day, school, community and religious officials including LDS Church Pres. Thomas S. Monson dedicated the university's new Digital Learning Center on the UVU campus.
