The Daily Herald PROVO -- The city will announce an Olympic flag program today that every city resident can participate in. Residents and businesses are encouraged to fly flags from countries with which they have a special connection during the Olympics.
The flag residents and businesses choose to fly may represent a country where their ancestors are from, a place their family has lived or visited or simply a country whose athletes they are excited to see compete in Provo. Flags can be purchased at the customer service counter at the Provo Towne Centre for $10 each.
