XanGo names new executive -- XanGo LLC, a Lehi dietary supplement maker, named co-founder and executive vice president Gordon Morton its chief marketing officer.

His appointment is part of the company's goal to expand globally, said company president Aaron Garrity.

In his new role, Morton will oversee key areas such as sales management, product development, public relations, marketing communications and market research.

Residential property developer adds new manager -- The Provo-Orem office of Windermere Real Estate Utah Valley LC, named Camille Swain its general manager.

Swain, a science graduate from Weber State University, was most recently marketing director for Castle Rock Financial Services in Orem.

Orem real estate broker honored -- Jean Tanner, a real estate broker with Summit Realty Inc. in Orem, was named one of the Top 3 Most Referred Real Estate Agents for her customer service, integrity and market knowledge.

Orem direct sales company names new officers -- Team Everest Inc., an Orem direct sales company, named two executives to its management team.

Eric N. Raymond, who had served as vice president of business technology, was promoted to chief operating officer. Raymond, a Microsoft Certified Systems engineer, has managed Web sites, databases and networks and had served as IT manager, database and network administrator, and business systems analyst.

Patricia H. Sheranian was named chief executive officer. She previously served as CEO of two Internet network marketing companies.

It turns out those who believed Utah was immune from the housing crisis were wrong. I foresee a price correction coming soon as the inventory starts exceeding demand.
