Provo needs to have more sidewalks for its pedestrians Print E-mail
Daily Herald

There are no sidewalks in the neighborhood where I live.

Sidewalks are an important part of any community. They prevent excessive traffic, accidents and other inconveniences (not that accidents are merely inconveniences).

Because it's illegal to drive on sidewalks, pedestrians don't have to block the road. The less times a pedestrian has to spend on a road or crossing a street, then the less chance there is for accidents and fatalities.

If our city had more sidewalks, it would be a safer, cleaner place to live.
