Georgia tech company sells Lindon unit -- EAU Technologies Inc., a Kennesaw, Ga.-based developer of water-based sanitizing technology for food processing, agriculture, dairy and environmental remediation, completed the sale of its Lindon consumer products unit to Perfect Water & Essentials LLC.

Perfect Water acquired the Lindon operations for $2.5 million and extended royalties on future product sales.

"The divestiture of our consumer products division is a key component in the strategy we have adopted to focus on driving core technologies within the high volume business-to-business marketplace," said Wade Bradley, president and CEO of EAU Technologies.

Legacy Auto launches annual Christmas Wish charity program -- The Legacy Auto Group is asking the public to nominate friends and neighbors who have fallen on hard times this year for its annual Christmas Wish program.

The program, which is funded by Legacy Auto Group dealerships Legacy Mazda in Orem and Legacy Subaru Mitsubishi in St. George, will run from Nov. 13 through Dec. 24. The program grants wishes to Utah families who need help getting through the holiday season and is run by Legacy employees and family members of employees who volunteer their time to read letters, shop for gifts and deliver presents.

It turns out those who believed Utah was immune from the housing crisis were wrong. I foresee a price correction coming soon as the inventory starts exceeding demand.
