Tintic High School Drama class in Eureka usually performs a musical, but this year, they decided for once to do some serious drama and let the kids explore a little early American history.
This play follows some of the true events that occurred during the Salem Witch trials. This famous work is filled with powerful scenes of human frailty, deceit, pride, and foolishness. Students are challenged with the most difficult lines and emotions that they have ever attempted.
There will also be a drawing for a gorgeous, crafts class made quilt for only a dollar a ticket. Other prizes are also offered in the raffle.
Enjoy intermission music and entertainment by students and staff, also. All proceeds go to help kids continue on with future performances.
Please come out and experience a night of entertainment for a reasonable price: $5 for adults and $3 for students. A family pass for six members is only $10. There will be two performances: Friday, March 7th, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 8th, at 7:30 p.m. For information call: (435) 433-6939. |
