AMERICAN FORK

RETAIL THEFT -- A 29-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft after she attempted to take several food items from a local business.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE -- A 20-year old man was arrested for assault domestic violence. The man and his brother got into an argument and he assaulted his brother.

RETAIL THEFT -- An 18-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft after she attempted to take several cosmetic items from a local business.

RETAIL THEFT -- A 21-year-old man was arrested for retail theft after he attempted to take a computer hard drive from a local business.

TRESPASSING -- A 43-year-old man was arrested for trespassing. The man entered onto private property, took his clothes off and lay under a tree.

RETAIL THEFT -- A 38-year-old man was arrested for retail theft after he attempted to take several clothing items from a local business.

RETAIL THEFT -- A 46-year-old man was arrested for retail theft after he attempted to takes several jewelry items from a local business.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, ETC. -- A 36-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence, threats against life or property, robbery, theft and criminal mischief domestic violence. The man got into an argument with his wife and threatened to kill her. He then held her down against her will, demanding she give him her pain pills. The man took the pain pills from her and during the argument he threw a cell phone breaking it.

ARREST -- An 18-year-old man was arrested for burglary, theft and contributing to the delinquency of minors. Two 17-year-old boys were arrested for possession of stolen property and curfew. The older man had walked into a garage and taken a six-pack of soda pop. He then gave some of the soda to the juveniles who were with him at the time.

CEDAR FORT

Suspected theft -- Police received a report and interviewed the owner about a missing horse. The owner presumed that the horse had been stolen from his property since it did not appear that the fence had been breached. The case is under investigation.

CEDAR HILLS

CRIMINAL CHIEF -- Officers responded to several reports for criminal mischief, where the side mirrors on vehicles had been damaged.

GRAFFITI -- Officers investigated graffiti located at the Cedar Hills golf course.

VEHICLE BURGLARY -- Several vehicle burglaries were reported. Taken was an iPod, a set of keys and a garage door opener.

EAGLE MTN.

Disorderly conduct -- Police responded to a resident's complaint that an acquaintance of one of his children refused to leave his property on April 18. When police arrived, the intoxicated suspect was outside and became belligerent with the officers. The suspect was booked into the Utah County Jail on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Vandalism -- Eagle Mountain police have responded to numerous cases of graffiti on walls, fences, public parks and restrooms at public facilities. If residents see young people out late at night acting in a suspicious manner, police are asking them to call police dispatch at 851-4100.

PLEASANT GROVE

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF -- On April 20, an individual reported their car window had been broken out.

BUSINESS BURGLARY -- The theft of a deposit from the safe of a business was reported on April 17. The theft occurred on Friday, April 13. Possible suspect information was given.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF -- Gang graffiti was painted on playground equipment at Lindon City Park and on a retaining wall at 400 South 400 West in Lindon on April 18.

ASSAULT -- A report of an assault on April 18 resulted in a juvenile girl being arrested.

BURGLARY -- On April 14, an individual reported that two unknown individuals attempted to make entry into their residence.

BURGLARY -- An individual reported on April 14 that her house was broken into and several items were missing. These included a Sentury Safe, prescribed Hydrocodone, prescribed Soma; prescribed Darvocet; cash, four passports, five social security cards, miscellaneous financial papers.

BURGLARY -- Cash was taken from a business on April 15. Entry was gained by breaking the glass door window.

BURGLARY -- The front door glasses of two businesses at 17 N. 1400 West in Lindon were smashed in on April 16. About $10 in cash was stolen from one. No other items were reported missing. Damaged to the doors is estimated at $1,000.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY -- Coins, two dollar bills, a necklace, and prescribed Klonopin was taken in a residential burglary on April 16. The door frame was damaged.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY -- Officers responded to a residential burglary regarding an unknown person who forced himself or herself into a residence on April 18, damaging a door. The home owner reported no property missing from the residence.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY -- Officers responded to a report of a burglary on April 20 in which the reporting party said he woke up early and found his front door open. He realized it had been kicked in. Nothing was found missing.

VEHICLE BURGLARY -- On April 14, officers spoke with an individual about having money stolen from a vehicle by a "friend." The reporting party actually saw the suspect running from his vehicle but waited three hours to make the report. After speaking with several people, it was learned the suspect had left the county.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF -- Six mailboxes were reported on April 20 to have been damaged. A car was also damaged.

TRAFFIC OFFENSE -- On April 20, a traffic stop was made for expired registration. Drug paraphernalia, Methamphetamine crystal, and a drug paraphernalia storage container were found. A citation for paraphernalia possession was given.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM -- While investigating a suspicious circumstance at a local business on April 16, a suspect admitted to possession of a marijuana pipe. The pipe was recovered and the man was cited for such.

THEFT -- On April 18, an individual reported her garbage can was stolen from her residence.

SARATOGA SPRINGS

Citizen's Academy -- The Saratoga Springs Police Department is looking for residents and city employees who want to participate in the SSPD Citizen's Academy. The course will meet one night per week for eight weeks. Topics will include crime scene investigation, SWAT team deployment, traffic enforcement, investigations, patrol procedures, accident investigation and domestic violence.
