Summer at the SCERA Print E-mail
Daily Herald

"Mama Told Me (Not to Come)" -- but let's face it ... Mama probably didn't realize the SCERA Summer Season was going to be so darned exciting.

Not only will graybeard rockers Three Dog Night (Sept. 1) be hitting the SCERA Shell stage this summer, but other headliners include 2007 "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks (June 25), R&B male vocal group Boyz II Men (Aug. 28), classic Australian popsters Little River Band (May 26), the Utah Symphony (Aug. 18), and Swedish tribute band Arrival taking a chance on "Abba Live!" (July 24).

"We have put together a season with such diversity, I'm sure families, students and seniors will find several reasons to visit the Shell this summer," said Adam J. Robertson, SCERA president and CEO.

SCERA season tickets can be purchased now by calling 225-ARTS or visiting the SCERA Center for the Arts box office (745 S. State St. in Orem) during regular business hours. General admission season tickets are $45-$60. Reserved seats also can be purchased, with prices ranging from $60-$95.

Also part of the season ticket package are three musicals: "The King & I," "Footloose: The Musical" and "Pride and Prejudice."
