Sharp-eyed residents of Springville may have noticed the film crews working on a youth sports film in 2006. If you've wondered what that was all about, now's your chance to find out.
The Utah Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau is hosting a free screening of "Forever Strong" on Wednesday at the SCERA Showhouse in Orem. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, but you'll need a free ticket to get in. Tickets can be picked up at the Utah Valley CVB office, 111 S. University Ave. in Provo.
"Forever Strong" tells the rough-and-tumble coming-of-age story of a high school rugby player whose off-the-field behavior threatens his on-the-field potential. The film was directed by Utah Valley's own Ryan Little, but has a Hollywood cast with Gary Cole, Sean Astin and "Never Back Down" star Sean Faris.
"Forever Strong" played at the LDS Film Festival in January, and producers are eyeing a possible theatrical release in the fall.
