SALT LAKE CITY -- Police in Gilbert, Ariz., are investigating a possible hate crime after two LDS teenagers were injured in an assault.
Police say the fight between four teen boys started after two of them said they are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The attackers allegedly fired soft air guns at the other boys.
The LDS teens suffered facial injuries and one had a broken collar bone.
Police arrested a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and underage drinking. Officers say the pair both had swastika marks on their wrists.
