Mapleton kindergarten-Dads and donuts Print E-mail
Daily Herald

Students in Mr. Kay's class at Mapleton Elementary recently invited their dads to a fun-filled day in kindergarten. It wasn't until the dads arrived at school did they mention the real title for the day, "Dads, Doughnuts & Dancing!" Students instructed their dads on everything from the Chicken Dance, and Hokey Pokey to

the limbo and Hula Dance. At the end of the dance instruction (much to the dad's relief) they moved into the classroom and worked through several centers with their dads. Students and their dads even planted flower seeds and added a special Spring poem as a memento of the day. Thanks to all of our dads for being such great sports!
