AMERICAN FORK
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE -- On April 26, a 42-year-old man was arrested for criminal mischief domestic violence and intoxication after officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic disturbance.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE -- An 18-year-old man was arrested on April 27 for illegal consumption of alcohol and disorderly conduct after he got into an argument with his mother.
RETAIL THEFT -- A 16-year-old male was arrested on April 29 for retail theft after he attempted to take a roll of wire from a local business.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE -- On April 29, an 18-year-old boy was arrested for domestic violence assault, simple assault and domestic violence in the presence of a child after officers were called to a residence on a disturbance. The suspect had allegedly assaulted his mother and another family member.
DRUG POSSESSION -- A 25-year-old female was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, several arrest warrants and evidence tampering on April 30 after she attempted to hide several syringes under a car.
TRESPASS -- Officers cited two men and a woman for criminal trespass on May 3 after they were located behind a business at 1 A.M. The suspects had driven around a gate at the business.
LEWDNESS in the presence of a child -- A 24-year-old man was arrested on May 3 for six counts of lewdness in the presence of a child and three counts of lewdness after the suspect exposed himself at a local business to several adults and minors. Officers were called to a local business on a complaint concerning the suspect.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE -- On May 3 a 39-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after officers were called to a residence on a disturbance.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE -- A 36-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault, domestic violence in the presence of a child and interference with a 911 call after he got into an altercation with his wife on May 3.
RETAIL THEFT -- On May 3 a 23-year-old man was arrested for retail theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor and a 17-year old boy was arrested for retail theft and illegal possession of alcohol after they stole beer, soda pop and steaks from a local business.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE -- A 20-year-old man was arrested on May 3 for domestic violence assault and a 21-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after officers were called to a home for a disturbance.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE -- A 32-year-old woman was arrested on May 4 for domestic violence assault after officers were called to a residence on a disturbance. The suspect was upset because the victim would not give her more alcohol to drink.
ROBBERY, PRESCRIPTION FRAUD, ETC. -- A 23-year-old man was arrested for robbery, several counts of prescription fraud and possession of a controlled substance. The suspect pulled up to the drive-through at a local pharmacy and handed them a note stating that he had a bomb and would blow them up if they did not give him the drugs. The suspect then panicked and drove away when he felt it had taken too long. He was stopped and arrested a short distance from the business.
EAGLE MOUNTAIN
DUI -- Deputies were dispatched to the scene of a verbal dispute between a husband and wife with alcohol involved. The woman had left the residence in a vehicle. A deputy stopped the vehicle and smelled alcohol. The woman failed field sobriety tests. She was arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail.
Illegal consumption -- An officer stopped a vehicle for a mechanical violation and found two young people with open containers of alcohol. The passenger, who was under the age of 18, admitted to drinking alcohol and was cited for illegal consumption. The driver, who was over 18, but under legal drinking age, was cited for illegal consumption of alcohol, open container, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
FAIRFIELD
Fire assistance -- An officer responded to a report of smoke coming from a field and found a smoldering fence post. He stayed at the scene until a fire crew put out the fire. An investigation into the cause of the fire revealed that there had been a legal, controlled burn at the location earlier in the day. Wind later in the day apparently caused embers to start the fence post on fire.
LEHI
LEWDNESS -- Two juvenile boys were cited into Juvenile Court for sexual battery on April 25.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT -- An individual was cited for driving under the influence of drugs, paraphernalia possession and more, following a April 24 accident.
TRAFFIC OFFENSE -- Driver cited with expired registration and no taillights following a April 23 traffic stop. The vehicle was impounded.
TRAFFIC OFFENSE -- An individual was cited for throwing lighted material from a car. Another individual for driving on a denied driver's license on April 26.
WARRANT SERVICE -- A man was booked into the Utah County jail on April 25 on warrants, possession of paraphernalia and driving on suspension.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE -- An individual was cited on April 25 for domestic violence in the presence of a child and unlawful detention.
ALCOHOL OFFENSE -- A man was cited with intoxication and resisting arrest on April 26. Another man was cited with intoxication. The case was forwarded to the City Prosecutor for review of additional charges.
PLEASANT GROVE
THEFT -- Police responded to a Lindon residence on April 28 for a theft detail. The complainant said someone stole two or three pallets from the side of her house. The pallets belonged to a sod company and she had a $20 deposit on each pallet.
VEHICLE BURGLARY -- A Pentax digital camera, valued at $900, and a Sigma Lens were reported taken from a vehicle on May 4 while the car was parked at church.
THEFT -- Victim reported on May 3 three chickens valued at $90 were stolen from a coop at his home in Pleasant Grove. Owner believes they were stolen by a person not an animal.
THEFT -- On April 28, reporting party said is wife's guitar was stolen from their Pleasant Grove residence. A man was arrested for theft and theft by deception and released.
TRAFFIC OFFENSE -- A traffic stop was initiated on May 3. The driver was found to be impaired and was arrested for DUI.
BURGLARY -- An unknown suspect forced entry into a Pleasant Grove home on May 2. A prescription for prescribed Hydrocodine was stolen. A wood door was damaged.
BURGLARY -- An unknown individual entered a Pleasant Grove residence on April 28. Luggage, two Haynes flutes and three picolos were stolen.
SARATOGA SPRINGS
Animal control -- Animal Control officers responded to a residential area on the report of a dog running at large. The officers captured the dog. Immediate contact with the owner was unsuccessful. The dog was transported to the area shelter, and the owner was cited. The owner eventually made contact with the Animal Control officer. |
