• RAGSDALE CASE -- The preliminary hearing for David Ragsdale was rescheduled on Monday for 8:30 a.m. May 27. Ragsdale is charged with the shooting death of his wife. • HIT AND RUN -- Police say a Spanish Fork man hit another vehicle Sunday night, and was so intoxicated when officers pulled him over that he wet and soiled himself.
Officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run near 800 North and 800 East in Orem around 9:18 p.m. Sunday, and located the suspect's vehicle on Center Street. The suspect initially refused to pull over for officers, police said, but eventually stopped near 350 North and 1000 East. Mark Campbell, 37, was booked into the Utah County Jail on charges of DUI, evading and leaving the scene of an accident. • HIT AND RUN -- Orem police said they followed a trail of leaking engine fluid to a suspect's home after a hit-and-run accident Saturday morning. According to police, 30-year-old Owen Williams hit a retaining wall and left the scene. When he answered the door of his house, police said Williams was "obviously very intoxicated," and said he couldn't remember what happened prior to answering the door for the officers. His car showed recent front end damage, police said. Williams was booked into the Utah County Jail. |

I wasn't in the car with him. I'm not stupid enough to let him drive off like that. Again, I'm not asking you to have compassion for him. I'm asking for consideration for my family. We sure didn't choose for this to happen to us.

I'm confused, Aud. You say you were a witness. Please explain. Without an explanation, some of us may be thinking, "Why didn't Aud stop him or get some help (calling the police) when he drove off?"
We certainly do have consideration for your family. . .We are thankful none of you were hurt or killed. However, we would like your dad to have consideration for us and our families by not doing this again.

uhh, you should be, that was incredibly embarrassing situation, and you brought it to even more peoples attention, as I didn't even know about it before YOUR post. As well as one of the most stupid and selfish things a person can do, drink and drive and put innocent people at risk.

That's one scary mug shot. Didn't they let him change his shorts before they took the pic?
