Neil K. Warner - DAILY HERALD

The 9th annual Utah Valley All-Star Classic baseball game was rained out on Monday and has been rescheduled for Thursday at BYU's Miller Field.

The festivities will begin at 5 p.m. when the valley coaches take on the all-stars in a five-inning game. The main event will follow at 7 p.m. when the all-stars will be divided up in an East vs. West format.

Prizes for the Most Valuable Players on each team for both games will be awarded following the games.

Representatives from the Utah Flash and Orem Owlz will be at the game and will be participating in contests and promotions. Fans in attendance could win tickets to future games, and restaurant gift certificates.

Admission price for the two games is $5 for adults and $4 for seniors and kids.

Proceeds from the game will go towards a baseball scholarship for a Utah Valley baseball player.

Adam Law? Are you kidding me. He's a mediocre baseball player on a bad team. Sounds like the organizers are kissing his dad's a$$. Ever wonder why BYU baseball sucks? Vance loves to recruit local yuppies who have no business playing D-1 baseball. Take a look at BYU's roster and you'll discover I'm right. If Adam Law is a high school all-star then I should have been on the All-America team! Adam will probably be recruited by BYU and they'll continue getting pounded. BYU politics at their best. What a pathetic joke.
