Utah Lake Festival
The fourth annual Utah Lake Festival will be held Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Utah Lake State Park. The event, which is free, includes free boat tours by Cross Marine Projects to learn about the lake's ecosystem, a canoeing workshop and excursions, fishing workshops, fun activities for kids and the entire family, and free hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones, apples and water.
The Festival is sponsored by the Utah Lake Commission, a group comprised of local government officials and state agency leaders, and the June Sucker Recovery Implementation Program, a group focusing on recovering the endangered June sucker.
