Pilot: 'Lost' star stays with ABC
Dead doesn't necessarily mean gone from "Lost" entirely. That said, don't expect Michael to be popping back up on the show in the immediate future.
Harold Perrineau, who played the doomed Michael Dawson on the ABC series, has moved on to another show at the network. He headlines a round of pilot casting at the Alphabet that also includes Gail O'Grady and Rick Gomez.
Perrineau has joined the cast of the drama pilot "The Unusuals," according to The Hollywood Reporter. He'll play a paranoid New York detective who never removes his bulletproof vest.
The ensemble show follows the goings-on at a police precinct in the Big Apple.
Clay Aiken's baby will be a boy
Claymates can start buying blue baby items for their favorite "American Idol" runner-up.
The sex of the baby that Clay Aiken fathered has been revealed, and it's a boy, reports TMZ.com.
The celebrity gossip site first broke the story that Aiken, 29, has fathered a child with his friend Jaymes Foster through artificial insemination. Foster is a producer and sister to record mogul David Foster.
TMZ is also opting to call the Aiken offspring a "Claby."
The bundle of joy is due in August.
Kim Cattrall, HBO hook up again
"Sex and the City" star Kim Cattrall is getting back into bed with HBO.
Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones on the small-screen "SATC" and currently stars in the box office-topping film based on the show, will star in and executive produce a show called "Sensitive Skin." The show is based on a British series about a middle-aged woman who starts to wonder about the choices she's made in her life, emotionally, sexually and otherwise.
Two other HBO veterans, "Sopranos" writers Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess, are writing and exec producing the pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Hugo Blick, who created the British series, will also be an executive producer.
