Carbon dioxide fallacies noted Print E-mail
Daily Herald

We are now seeing a crisis in the production of food in the world. At least part of it is the ethanol scam. The energy content in ethanol is significantly less than a comparable fuel, gasoline. When production costs and emissions are figured in, it is an overall environmental detriment.

This bandwagon to reduce carbon dioxide is a ridiculous scam. It is only 350 parts per million in the atmosphere. The major greenhouse gas, water vapor, is well over 100,000 parts per million, depending on the humidity. All plant life breathes in carbon dioxide. According to immutable laws of chemistry, increasing the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will make plants (food) grow more. A warmer temperature makes them grow faster and increases the land available to farm on. There are several more important factors that affect climate than carbon dioxide, like the sun, for example. How can the liberals rationalize cutting carbon dioxide in the atmosphere when millions are starving (another liberal agenda)? We have the technology to cope with some of the adverse results of warmer temperatures. Our ability to cope with the famines that will result from significant global cooling that has happened in the past is far less.
