Boyd Lucas Hair
Boyd Lucas Hair, 46, returned to his Father in Heaven on June 13, 2008 and was relieved from unbearable pain that he suffered for over two years from back surgery that never healed. He was born in Payson, Utah on May 10, 1962, the son of Paul Johnson Hair and Karen Lucas Hair. He married Antoinett Ivins and they had three children, Sam, Luke, and Kadie. They were divorced. He later married Gloria Bernal and they have four children, Melanie, Jessica, Joe, and Ashley. Boyd graduated from Spanish Fork High School and Seminary. He served an L.D.S. mission to Bogota, Colombia. Boyd was a licensed building contractor and built many beautiful homes in Salem and throughout Utah County. He was known for his excellent work and especially cabinet work which he enjoyed doing the most. Boyd spoke the Spanish language fluently and taught his children to learn it as well as several others. Boyd was a wonderful husband and father. He is loved and will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; children listed above; parents; three brothers, David (Ronda), Payson; Kevin (Crystal), American Fork; Bryce (Sherri), Salem; two sisters, Sherilyn (Brian) Wright, Enoch, UT; and Alicen (Kevin K.) Koyle, Salem.
Funeral services were held June 18, 2008. Interment was in the Salem City Cemetery.
Family would like to acknowledge the kindness of Bishop Phillip Snyder and members of the Salem 12th Ward and Salem West Stake who helped Boyd and his family during his illness.
