Springville painting franchise firm adds new board director -- Five Star Painting Inc., a Springville-based painting franchise operator, named Craig Donaldson as a member of its Board of Directors. Donaldson is the president of Chem-Dry, a carpet and upholstery cleaning services unit of Home Depot.
Donaldson has led Chem-Dry as its president for 10 years. During this time, the company has been owned by two private equity firms -- the Summit Partners for five years and the Nautic Partners for three years. In January 2006, he led the sale of ChemDry to Home Depot from the Nautic Partners, and continues to help with the transition to new ownership.
Coldwell Banker's Orem office gets new agent -- Lindsey Brown joined the Orem office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. She was formerly an agent from RNI, the company's internal referral network.
SLC advertising agency adds two workers -- Love Communications, a Salt Lake City-based advertising agency, named Michelle Howell and Nicole Lash as account coordinators to its account service team.
They will be responsible for the agency's retail and health services accounts. Howell will help manage retail-based clients, including Arctic Circle and IFA. She was most recently a media assistant at Kassing Andrews Advertising and a marketing assistant at Insanity Marketing. Howell graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in public relations in 2006.
Lash will work primarily on the agency's health and public awareness campaigns. She was most recently an account executive with the Salt Lake City-based public relations firm of Coltrin & Associates. She earned a bachelor's degree in communication from Brigham Young University-Idaho in April 2008.
NY outdoor clothing retailer names new Park City manager -- 66ÀöNorth, a Brooklyn, N.Y.-based outdoor clothing retailer, hired Justin Zak as its western regional sales manager based in Park City. He will be responsible for fostering retail relationships, marketing initiatives and sales for the western United States.
Zak, who has experience in promotions, vendor relations and purchasing, was most recently the merchandise division coordinator for backcountry.com.
