NEBO Pressurized irrigation Print E-mail
Daily Herald

Here are a few things you should know:

Once the P.I. system is turned on, it takes up to a week for all residents to have water in their pipes.

Make sure your main P. I. valve is turned off now so when the water does make it to your house it doesn't flood your yard.

Payson City is asking residents with odd number addresses to water their yards on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and residents with even number addresses to water their yards on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The most effective times to irrigate yards are during the evenings and mornings when temperatures are cooler. Therefore, residents are asked to refrain from watering between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Payson City and other larger water users will be scheduled to use the water during the daytime hours in order to reserve as much pressure as possible for the residents. In order to allow for system recovery, everyone should refrain from watering on Sunday.

Most of all, Payson City encourages residents to engage in attractive landscaping. We are fortunate to enjoy irrigation water at such reasonable prices. The wise use of water and well-kept yards are Payson traditions worth keeping.
