Daily Herald

Seth Robert Ray returned peacefully to his Heavenly Father in the loving arms of his parents and surrounded by family and friends at midnight Wednesday, the 18th of June at Primary Children's Hospital. Seth was born March 15, 2007, in Payson, Utah to Dustin and Lori Ann Shepherd Ray. Although Seth was only with us for a short time, he was an inspiration and blessing to those who knew him. Seth was a joy to his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Seth was preceded in death by his grandfather, Daniel Ray, Sr. and is survived by his parents and brothers, Joseph and Scott of Payson; Grandparents, Saundera (Sandy) Ray, of Payson; and Shirl D. and Beverly Binks Shepherd, of Lake Shore. We would like to thank our friends and family, the doctors and nurses at Primary Children's Hospital and University of Utah Medical Center, Dr. Devenport, Kids Who Count, and the Schools of the Blind, the Deaf, the Deaf and Blind for the caring support of Seth and his family.

Services were held June 21, 2008 and interment followed at the Payson City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been made with Walker Family Mortuaries and all condolences and inquiries for the family can be sent there at 587 South 100 West, Payson, Utah 84651 (801) 465-3846, or www.walkerfamilymortuary.com.
