Irene Judd Koplin Barclay

Irene Judd Barclay graduated from earth life Friday, June 20, 2008 at the age of 92 years and ten days. She was born in Burdett, Alberta, Canada on June 10, 1916 the last of 11 children of Thomas and Emma Clark Judd.

In 1942 she married Martin R. Koplin who was stationed at Fort Lewis. They were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1945. They moved to Sacramento, CA in 1954. They divorced in 1967 and she married Bruce Barclay in 1970. He passed away in 1998.

She graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 1973 and was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

She is survived by her two children, Marene (Jaye) Compton and Richard Koplin; five grandchildren: Jennifer, Jason, Julie, Jeff and Matt and six great-grandchildren: Sophie, Jadon, Erin, Lauren, Morgan and Brooke.

She will be laid to rest in Elk Grove, CA where she lived for over 20 years.
